Description

One of the rarest records known: Sunshine 3002 featuring Ruth Lee with Ory's Sunshine Orch. performing "That Sweet Something Dear" (G) and "Maybe Some Day" (P) both selections by the Spikes Brothers. This is an amazing item, though audibly it is not in terrific shape (But of course, this is more of a showcase museum piece than a record party spinner!) While both sides are audible, they are not the most listenable. "That Sweet Something Dear" is in best shape with surface noise and a very distant quality, while "Maybe Some Day" has a few clear splotches (looks like water spots), some tiny pitting and a small dig near the end that does not pass. Of course, the labels are in great shape, and are notoriously glued over the Nordskog labels (perhaps the splotches are remnants of the dried glue? though needle plays through them)... so as an artifact, it is all I suppose it should be! 78 rpm. Buyer pays shipping $4.00 in USA. Mich residents must pay 6% sales tax. Insurance is extra, when requested. Multiple orders (up to three 78 records for $4.00 in USA) can be combined to save you money on shipping! Satisfaction guaranteed!

Overseas customers PLEASE NOTE: Ebay estimates of shipping ARE NOT ACCURATE! please wait for invoice, generally one 78 rpm record to Europe is just under $20.00.
