Looking for that rare addition to your collection? This is it! Before he was the owner of the Stamps Quartet, and prior to joining the Blackwood Brothers, J.D. Sumner was the bass singer for the famous Sunshine Boys. Here he is featured on 5 songs on this 8' transcription disc along with Fred Daniels, Eddie Wallace, and Ace Richman. Transcriptions were made and intended to be used for Radio Broadcasts. This particular one came straight from a radio station in Hudson, New York and was released in November of 1951 according to the station notes.The record does not appear to have been played more than once or twice, but has a slight ring around where it was exposed outside of the holder for many years. This does not affect the playback at all.This is my LAST Sunshine Boys transcription- so if you were watching the others- this is your last shot!
