Super rare Deadstock 1980s Antonio Carlos Jobim 2xLP boxset + Book






This very limited edition was produced for private issue only in 1987 and came in a box with 2 xLPs, a gatefold sleeve with additional booklet pages plus a 320 page biography of Jobim by Sergio Cabral.


This copy is new old stock. I was given it by a well known Brazilian music critic who’s no longer with us, and he was given it new by Jobim. It’s never been played and even comes in its original cardboard protection box (in which its been stored for decades).


Incredibly hard to find and a must for Jobim collectors. Until recently much of this material was not available anywhere else (since been released as Jobim Inedito by Biscoito Fino). However this is the only version with the beautiful box, the book and of course on pristine unplayed vinyl!

CONDITION - NEW - Gatefold booklet has some crinkle due to age, some foxing on inside of box, all to be expected from atmospherics in Brazil, but this has been in the UK for 20 years and kept in perfectly stable conditions.
Vinyl is new and unplayed but has some spots that will need to be cleaned. This is normal with ALL vinyl stored in Brazil even new records will develop some spots due to local atmosphere. This will clean off with a damp cloth or preferably with a record cleaning machine.
PLEASE NOTE THIS BOX SET IS VERY HEAVY AS IT CONTAINS A LARGE BOOK AS WELL AS RECORDS. SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY IS AVAILABLE BUT IT IS NOT CHEAP DUE TO SIZE AND WEIGHT. IT WILL NEED TO BE CAREFULLY PACKED TO AVOID DAMAGE. HOWEVER, IF ACTUAL SHIPPING COST IS LESS THAN YOU PAY, I WILL REFUND THE DIFFERENCE.
