Orbe LP-D15-2 Stereo. original 1969 -70 press, from Bogota Columbia, ,South America. South American Psych. A real diamond. I could not find this LP on the Internet or my catalogs or price guides. Or, any listing of a transaction of this record, not through google, popsike.com, ebay, Craig Moerer, or GEMM , not even one copy of this record for sale. so my assessment as a minimum bid is based upon consideration of everything, if anybody has any information about this record please e-mail me. The cover is close to new-, but let's call it very good+, ,no splits, no tears, there is an address sticker belonging to a previous owner in the upper right corner. For such a flimsy cover it is in marvelous condition. The record is new-, only a few spindle lines, lots of luster, the vinyl is slightly noisy between tracks, because it is a lower quality vinyl. there is another address sticker on side one of the label. Although you can hear everything from the bass to the symbols. very enjoyable listening. Ana and Jaime were 15 and 17, they also wrote three of the songs. they may be playing some of the instruments, which consist of electric guitar, fuzz guitar, acoustic guitar, farfasa organ, piano, Bass and drums. No violins or horns. This LP contains acid fuzz freak beat, protest folk, psych folk, psych rock pop, garage garagey in spots, very good vocals and original harmony vocals, This is an extremely impressive record. Every requirement is met for an essential classic, this is a 4 star (out of 4) record, all the tracks have their own charm, there is even a slow Goth Fuzz Rock version of "love story". also there is one track called "Cuantos Momentos" that is psych pop Latin samba. Though somewhat diverse, the LP has an undeniable cohesion. The record is thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. There are no English lyrics on this LP. There are 4 songs that contain fuzz guitar "Es Largo el camino", Jerusalem, Nina Nana, Love Story, There ar 2 protest folk tracks "Dire a mi gente" and Ricardo Semillas". some nice psych/Pop. even the cover photos are psyhedelic, & the kaleidoscope effect on the back cover .this extremely rare record may not be offered for sale in such good condition for a very long time, if ever.
