This record was purchased by me new on release decades ago. 

It was never played and carefully stored - until being offered now on eBay.

The U.S. POSTAL SERVICE raised INTERNATIONAL rates.

A 45 RPM in a mailer weighs about 4 ounces. The USPS international charge is $9.45 for shipping 4 ounces, eBay and PayPal charge up to an additional 16% fee on S+H making a 4 ounce package cost about $11 to ship Plus the cost of the box, label, etc.

The International shipping charge is $3 for up to 2 additional 45s.

FYI - A $10 item costs $1.10 to $1.55 to list and sell on ebay.  PayPal charges about 70 cents to receive payment.  It costs about 45 cents for the mailer or box and adhesive label. USPS charges about $2 to $3 for actual U.S. postage and a delivery confirmation.  Now ebay is requiring insurance. Add the USPS minimum rate of $1.75.   Add Tape, Toner, material and all the little extra costs and you can see why my shipping charge is better than an OK deal.

Another FYI, eBay & PayPal charge ALL sellers

about a 12% to 16% fee on shipping charges, which makes the shipping cost more.
