Supertramp
S/T
1970 UK 1st Pressing, 2nd Variant (correct title)
A&M Records, AMLS 981
Supertramp's very hard-to-find debut album, four years before they hit it big with Crime of The Century (1974). At this time, only Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies from the classic lineup were also in this lineup, with Roger playing bass!
This album is arguably their most progressive, incorporating hammond organs and flutes. A few gems from this album for me would be the 12-minute epic 'Try Again', and 'Nothing To Show'.
The record is visually VG. Nice sheen with some light surface marks. Plays well with light crackle in some quiet passages, plus the occasional clicks. A very enjoyable listen for me.
The sleeve is VG. Has some creases.
