This is an auction for Svein Finnerud Trio - Thoughts LP
Amazing Norwegian jazz LP from this legendary jazz trio.
Amongst jazz aficionados regarded as the groups best album.
The story behind this record is amazing, it was recorded right after the classic Plastic Sun LP in 1974 but Arne Bendiksen got cold money feet and decided not to release it since Plastic Sun didn't sell to well so the record remained in the shelves for 11 years until the record label Prisma decided to release the record in 1985. The record was sold in a few record shops in Oslo and got no distribution deal.
The LP finishes were Plastic Sun left of, amazing funky bass lines by Bjørnar Andresen, delicate and itensive piano work by Finnerud and amazing percussion and drums by Espen Ruud and after hearing the record it is no wonder why this ban is every Norwegian jazz musicians favorite band.
This is a rare opportunity to get one of the toughest Norwegian jazz Lp's, a true holy grail!
