Description

Svein Finnerud Trio Thoughts Norwegian jazz holy grail!

record NM (played once) cover vg+ some few tearmarks in 3 corners)

This is the record everybody talks about but never has been seen. Why is the reason for that besides it was only pressed in 750 copies? Well the story behing this record is amazing, it was recorded right after the classic Plastic Sun at the Henie Onstad art centre in 1974 but Arne Bendiksen got cold money feet and decided not to release it since latic Sun didnt sell to well so the record remained in the shelves for 11 years until the director of the museum and personal friend of Finnerud decided to open up a one time record label Prisma records to release the record with the Museums money in 1985. the record was sold only at the museum adn very few record shops in Oslo and got sorry distrubution deal. And over 300 copies of the 750 got thrown by the museum in the eighties. The LP finishes were Palstic Sun left of, amazing funky bass lines by Bjørnar Andresen, delicate and itensive piano work by Finnerud and amazing percussion and drums by Espen Ruud and after hearing the record it is no wonder why this ban is every Norwegian jazz musicians favourite band. Includes 7 original ompositions by Bjørnar Andresen and one by Finnerud every single one great music. Good Luck!
