An absolutely stunning copy of this hard to find 4AD album.

Swallows only studio album released in 1982. There was only ever one pressing.

The condition of the playing surfaces is superb, as near mint as I believe you are likely to find in a record that has been played.

Both sides are beautifully glossy, dust and fingerprint free.

The only reason I haven't graded as mint is because I have played it once, possibly twice

and there are a very small number of the most superficial sleeve marks from getting the record out of it's inner sleeve to be seen

and these are only visible in extremely hard daylight.

Bought at a time when I was buying just about everything that 4AD released, but just didn't get on with this one at all, so hardly played at all.

Everything about this is as close to mint as I think you will find. From the vinyl to the sleeve and original inner sleeve.

There is only the slightest of softness to the bottom left corner of the cover, everything else is perfect.

Before photographing, each record was cleaned using a Knosti disco-antistat record cleaner using a solution

of 1:8 parts Isopropyl Alcohol to De-ionised water, with a couple of drops of a surfactant.

If necessary, records were given a hands on clean, as bellow, followed by a second run through the Knosti.

1 - Removal of any surface dust with a light brushing over with a carbon fibre and velvet disc cleaning pad

2 - Deep cleaning with large (Big Fudge) velvet pad and cleaning solution

3 - A final brushing with a Pro-Ject carbon fibre record brush.

I am a professional photographer by trade, and have gone to great lengths to light and photograph covers, inner sleeves

and the vinyl themselves in such a way as to show, as accurately as possible, the actual condition of all.

Rest assured that what you see is exactly what will be despatched to you if you are the successful winner of each listing.

I personally wouldn't bid on a pre-owned record without the option to return it if I felt that the seller hadn't been

totally truthful and transparent in their description of it, or that on receipt it didn't live up to my expectations. 

And I do not expect you to do so either. 

Unless otherwise stated every record was purchased by myself from new and only ever played

by myself on my own deck and with as expensive a cartridge as I could afford at the time.

And finally, because Mr or Mrs  Poasty may not handle your record with the same care and reverence that you or I would,

I will dispatch in a specialised corrugated cardboard record mailing outer, and if I feel even more protection is required

I will also include two extra sheets of 3mm corrugated cardboard for added safety and protection.
