Description
Of all the singles I have listed today, this is the hardest to describe (or value!). Swell Maps are somewhat experimental, and this three track single ( Read about Seymour, Ripped & Torn, Black Velvet) is the original 1977 Rather Records release. Although it was reissued the following year on Rough Trade, this was merely distributed by Rough Trade. I suspect it was a very limited issue? I have owned it from new, probably played it very little, and properly stored it for over 30 years (since I last moved house). An interesting value for money point is that the total playing time for the three tracks is about 5 minutes 6 seconds! I have looked online to try to figure out a sensible buy it now price, but with limited success. I am therefore going to let this auction run. Last one I saw for sale was £200, I don't expect that, but I don't want to see going to see it go for pennies! Over to you, bidders
