Description
On offer here is a copy of The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett.
This is a very Limited Edition high quality reissue and one of a series of reissues by EMI to mark their 100th year, they named the series EMI 100. It comes with a fully laminated, inside and out, sleeve and was the first issue of the series released in 1997, catalogue number LPCENT 1.
Please see the photo of the sticker on the front of the cover which gives more details, but basically the album is Direct Metal Mastered using Virgin Vinyl with very high quality sleeves.
I bought this album new at the time of release but never played It, instead I kept it stored in a polythene sleeve ever since. It is Mint and Unplayed.
The record will be sent outside of it’s cover in a polythene sleeve sandwiched between two 12”stiffeners in a heavy duty record mailer made by Covers 33, as used by Mail Order Record companies.
