With these 4 beautiful LPs – superb collector’s copies all – from Japanese Philips (individual catalog numbers given below, Japanese pressings, red/silver labels, stereo, textured jackets) one can collect premium audiophile-like re-issues of the legendary violinist’s recordings from his remarkable Indian summer, LPs originally issued on Mercury, but arguably sounding even finer here with smoother sound.
As ever with Japanese issues, the production values are exemplary, with lovely jackets (here with a textured finish) offering original artwork, expert audio transfers, easily among the finest Szigeti LPs ever to grace the catalog, and these copies in exceptionally fine conditoin.

Throughout titles – both on the jackets and the LPs – are in English; all other text, including the liner notes, are in Japanese.
CONDITION:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jackets is near-MINT. Aside from minuscule corner wear, the albums appear virtually as new – overall, these rate as outstanding collector’s copies.
The condition of the 4 LPs is near-MINT. Although the surfaces are not absolutely silent (and thus I have rated it NM vs. MINT) these are fine copies and playback is superb. If you must have flawless surfaces, then please do not buy this set – these rate as NM collector's copies.
PLEASE NOTE:
This LP has been carefully cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine. All LPs are provided with a new Nagaoka (or Nagaoka-style) inner sleeve. The images I've provided are of the actual item you are potentially bidding on - these are not stock images or images I've taken from other sites. Bid with confidence!
