Description
T. Rex – “Dandy in the Underworld” (8E 072 98783). Portuguese pressing of Marc Bolan’s final (and superb) vinyl album. The packaging is basic, and does not have the cut-out sleeve in which the UK pressing was issued (it was also packaged without a lyric inner sleeve). The sleeve of this copy is tatty, with creases, ring-wear and edge-wear. The “T” in T. Rex on the front has some small pen writing (please see scans) and there is a small sticker on the back. The vinyl has some obvious grazing (although no really heavy scratches). There is some surface noise when played but, after the run-in groove, this is largely of the background variety. Certainly the item is still playable to an enjoyable standard, in spite of the visual defects.
