Description

     T. Rex were an English rock band formed in 1967 by singer-songwriter Marc Bolan.  Between 1970 to 1973 T. Rex was the most popular band in the UK with a run of eleven singles in the UK Top 10.  T.Rex's popularity was borne out of Marc Bolan's flashiness, talent, and raw irresistible rock sound.  Bolan died in a car crash at age 29,  his death ended the band.        "Electric Warrior"  is their second album, marking a turning point for a more flamboyant glam-rock style.  The album reached #1 on the UK charts, staying at this slot for more than 8-weeks, and became the best-selling album of 1971.  The single, "Bang A Gong (Get It On)"  became a US Top Ten hit.   Here is a 12" picture disc reissued in 1982 for the Marc Bolan Fan Club.  The artwork is Marc's silhouette in blue on one side, and full lyrics on the other side.   Made in England,  Marc On Wax  #ABOLAN 3P,   Stereo.  Item is in excellent condition.  Thank you for looking.
