T. Rex - The Slider
(EMI BLN 5001 UK LP 1972)
This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a matt sleeve & comes with a red printed lyric inner sleeve. This iis printed on semi-buff paper. The vinyl has also been placed in a separate period polythene-lined "Decca" inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl and has the earliest A-2U/ B-2U matrix stampers. They have "the Gramophone Co.." text. "Bobil ^ Solid gold is gold" and "The Mad Monk" are etched in the dead wax on Side 1 & Side 2 respectively.
Sleeve: A previous owner has written a small circular inscription on the rear sleeve. Otherwise, minimal wear only. VG++ condition.
Vinyl: The polythene inner sleeve has left some light, mild, or more moderate, marks on the vinyl in a few areas. This can only be seen under a strong light. They do not affect play at all. otherwise, light to very mild sleeve rubs can be seen when viewed under a strong light. VG condition. The labels are in wonderful condition and show next to no spindle wear. Plays Excellent overall & EX+ in many places.The lyric inner sleeve is in Excellent condition. There is some light or very creasing in a couple of areas. There are no seam splits.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.90 to £8.00 (depending on weight). Add £1.50-£2.00 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £9.00 to £11.75 (depending on weight). Add £2.00-£2.50 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
