T. Rex - The Slider

(EMI BLN 5001 UK LP 1972)

 

This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a matt sleeve, & comes with its original lyric inner sleeve. This is printed on semi-buff thin card. 

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has two sets of matrix numbers:

Side 1: BLN 5001 A-2U/ MARK ILPA-1U (Bobil ^ Solid Gold is gold" is etched in the dead wax.

Side 2: BLN 5001 B-2U/ MARK ILPB-1U (The Mad Monk ^ Mark) is etched in the dead wax.

The labels have "The Gramophone Co..." text on them. A genuine UK 1st pressing of this great UK Glam Rock LP.

 

Sleeve: Some mild rubbing wear to the bottom edge. Some light ringwear too. VG+ condition.

Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, and a few light marks. VG- condition. The labels are clean & show mild to more moderate spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent, & even Excellent in some places. There is some light crackle in some quieter paces.

The inner sleeve has a 1" bit of wear to the bottom seam. There is light ringwear too. It is in VG++ condition. There are no seam splits.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
