PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BUY!
This sale is called the TAKE A CHANCE sale. Why? I am pruning my collection of collectible items in order to raise some quick money for family impacted by the recent storms in this area. Time is of the essence, and at the moment, I don't have the time to take pictures and carefully grade items, nor am I able to sit like a hawk at the computer and answer questions about each item. So, I am listing these collectible items with asking prices well below what they might bring had they been carefully photographed, visual and play graded, etc etc. I will only be able to offer a brief description for now. The picture is NOT the actual item you will receive; I used an available image so those who shop by pictures would know what item is being sold. Eventually, if the items do not sell, I may get around to photos and such, but the asking price will be increased accordingly. So, "take a chance" - if you have wanted this item and aren't extremely fussy about whether it is in Mint Plus Plus shape, don't mind a small seam split on the cover, or a worn spot here or there, grab it now at this well-below book value cost. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
ITEM: THE BEATLES vs THE FOUR SEASONS 2 record set on Vee-Jay DX-30. The albums and the cover are original. The vinyl looks in good shape (I am unable to play test) The cover looks used, but really nice except for a couple of small seam wear splits at top and bottom - nothing horrible, just not perfect, obviously. Spine print is intact and very readable. The BEST part about the cover is that there is NO WRITING on the cover at all. Not even on the back cover where people kept "score" of the battle. This album is tough to find without lots of writing on the back. This one is clean!! This set also contains a reproduction of the original poster that was included when the album was released.
