TAL FARLOW QUARTET RARE FACTORY SEALED! MINT VINYL! 1975 BLUE NOTE REISSUE FOR THEIR MODERN JAZZ SERIES. ORIGINALLY RELEASED IN 1954. UNOPENED AND UNPLAYED!
Tal Farlow was a leading early bop guitarist, a devotee of Charlie Christian, who helped define the modern jazz guitar with his great speed, remarkable technique and innovative ideas. He played and recorded initially with band-leader, Red Norvo. 
When he recorded this LP he was joined by another Norvo alum, Clyde Lombardi on Bass, Don Arnone on second Guitar, and soon-to-be star, the sensational drummer from Marian McPartland's trio, Joe Morello!
Of note: this album has a small clean cut at the upper right corner of the cover.
