TALKING HEADS – '77 - ORIGINAL SIRE RECORDS STEREO LP SR 6036
*** ULTRA-RARE TEST PRESSING ***
· PLAIN, WHITE, GENERIC TEST PRESSING LABEL WITH ONLY MINOR TECHNICAL ANNOTATION ON IT. THIS WAS PRESSED BEFORE THE RECORD WAS EVEN AVAILABLE AS A DEMO FOR TECHNICAL AND OTHER RELATED PEOPLE! THIS PRESS WAS MADE BEFORE THE COVER ART WAS DESIGNED AND BEFORE THERE WAS EVEN A LABEL. THESE ARE EXTREMELY RARE, AND BEING EARLY PRESSES ARE CONSIDERED HOT STAMPERS... MEANING THEY SOUND EXQUISITE! RECORDS ARE PRESSED OFF MASTER DISCS, AND YOU ONLY GET SO MANY PRESSES OFF OF EACH MASTER. THE FIRST 100 TO 200 PRESSED OFF A MASTER SOUND CLEANER AND FULLER THAN THE LATER PRESSINGS, AND BEING AN UNOFFICIAL, PRE-RELEASE PRESS, IT'S GUARANTEED TO BE ONE OF THOSE RECORDS!!!
FURTHERMORE, THAT MAKES THIS A REAL FIRST PRESS, EVEN BEFORE THE ACTUAL FIRST PRESS!! OF THEIR FIRST ALBUM! COOL.
BETTER YET? THE VINYL IS NM.
THE COVER IS A PLAIN WHITE COVER WITH THE CATALOGUE NUMBER WRITTEN OUT, AND IT'S IN EX CONDITION.
· INCLUDES TYPEWRITTEN DATA SHEET STILL AFFIXED TO THE FRONT COVER, WITH A TENTATIVE TRACK LISTING, PROPOSED TITLE, ARTIST- AND PRODUCER CREDITS,
· CLEAN, WEAR-FREE LABELS
