Up for auction is a scarce gem for Talking Heads collectors and post-punk vinyl hunters alike — a promo-only live LP from 1979, issued exclusively to radio stations and industry insiders as part of the Warner Bros. Music Show series.
This is not a commercial release — it was never sold in stores, making it a true piece of music history. Also includes special insert.

CONDITION NOTES:
Vinyl: deep cleaned, that said, please note: there is some mold or something that’s effected side 2 (see photos) and significant surface noise on the final track ("Take Me to the River").
It’s listenable, and the rest of the album sounds great, but the crackle is definitely there — priced accordingly.
Sleeve: Original Warner Bros. generic promo jacket in good condition with expected signs of wear.
This is a must-have addition for completists and audiophiles interested in the formative years of one of the most inventive bands of the 20th century. Even with the surface noise, it’s a hard-to-find artifact that rarely shows up in the wild.
