Description
This is a very sought after TAMLA MOTOWN Demo by CHRIS CLARK, who was very popular in the '60's with Northern Soul fans and especially this 1966 single Love's Gone Bad, which is backed by Put Yourself In My Place. This copy carries FIRST PRESS Stamper codes.
This is a nice, shiny vinyl, with just very light surface scratches on each side. I can honestly say that these in no way affect the quality of playback, which is lovely and clear on both songs. The labels are clean, with possibly just slight sticker residue, but they look good. There are a few spindle marks, but the spindle hole shows little sign of wear. The Motown sleeve is in a nice clean condition, with no tears or writings (a sticker seems to have been removed, top right, front).
TAMLA Catalogue Number: TMG 591
MATRICES: TMG 591 A-1 and TMG 591 B-1
STAMPER Codes: 1 G and 1 G (KT at 12 o'clock both sides)
