Cult Metal Classics (??????? ?????): «TANTRUM from New Jersey, had been one of the most qualitative heavy metal bands in the history of 80's metal. They released just 4 songs on vinyl back in 1986 on their legendary EP that was released without a cover artwork, that gained them immortal status among the underground metal circuit.
Their main songwriter and guitar player John Riccio wrote some killer riffs and displayed a great variety in musicianship and along with the powerful singing of Chuck Bird, they marked their status forever in the 80's metal hall of fame along with their label mates at the time HEATHEN'S RAGE.
The first look at the cover is rather off-putting: a completely black cover, front with a silver TANTRUM stickers, and on the back with a white sticker information on the MLP as Tracks, Musicians, etc. Special Thanxs contains. Very disappointed with the package I then placed the disk and what I then expected was a hammer beyond compare. Four, simply unique US Power Metal grenades that were banned here on vinyl. Höllisch cool riffs, thundering drums and a singer with a high, brilliant organ, make "Trenton City Murders" a metal wet dream and true gem, This is an absolute must have and worth the price . Tantrum have unfortunately never made the breakthrough, which is more than strange given the offered song material!
