Description

An excellent 2 eye stereo copy of Don Shirley's Water Boy, Columbia CS 9196.  Songs are Water Boy, Where's My Bess, In A Moorish Marketplace, The Man I Love, This Nearly Was Mine, Blue Skies, Adieu Madraz, By Myself, Freedom and When Your Lover has Gone.   A TAS List Best of the Bunch Record.

The jacket shows a little ringwear, but is otherwise fine.  The record has a couple of scuffs, but it plays well.  I rate it EX.

I'm starting to sell my collection of Jazz LP's collected/accumulated over the last 50 plus years.  Lots of gems in the collection and some dogs as well.  I welcome input from all jazz record collectors on the best way to list the records in the collection.  Auction, Auction with high starting price; Auction with low starting price and a reserve, Buy it Now with or without a best offer option; some other option?  I deal primarily in classical records so this is unchartered waters for me.  Thanks for any input.  And, if you are in Southern California and would like an opportunity to see what I have, email me.

I try to grade records accurately. Most records are play graded.  I will list in the description any obvious flaws or defects.  I play all of the mono records listed using a Miyabe mono cartridge on a Oracle turntable with a Grahm 2.5 arm.  I find that mono records with some surface marks generally play fine when played with my mono cartridge.  Not necessarily the case when played on my other table with a stereo cartridge.  So, for the mono records, keep in mind they have been played using a mono cartridge and the report or description is based upon how they play on my table with a mono cartridge.

Quoted shipping in the domestic U.S. is by Media Mail. Quoted international shipping is by USPS first class international mail. Heavier packages must be shipped by USPS International Priority mail. I prefer to combine shipping to save costs. All shipping will be quoted at the end of the listing(s). Records are shipped in heavy cardboard mailers designed specifically for LP's with bubble wrap or cardboard inserts for protection.

If you feel that my description of the record is inaccurate in some respect, you can return the record for a refund of the full purchase price (less shipping).

If you want a record held for future shipping, please email me so I know that is your intention. .

If you have any questions about the record, please ask them before the auction closes. I will assume that all bidders know what they are bidding on and I will not accept returns becuase the buyer bid by mistake etc.
