Description

  • Very close to mint LP of Roberto Gerhard’s “The Plague” (Decca Head 6, UK pressing with 6-page insert) performed by The National Symphony Orchestra And Chorus Washington D.C. under the direction of Antal Dorati. The narrator is Alec McGowan.
  • This LP is on The Absolute Sound (TAS) “Bakers Dozen” list of top audiophile recordings.
  • The dead wax stampers are 1G/2G indicating Ted Burkett as mastering engineer. His masterings are considered superior to all other engineers on the Decca, London, and Argo labels.
  • The glossy LP looks and plays very close to mint (I don’t rate opened LPs as mint so I‘ll call it mint minus). The cover, inner sleeve and insert are also near mint.
  • NO reserve. I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage (check out my other items!).
