Spectacular 1960 original RCA Victor Living Stereo “shaded dog” LP “Festival” (RCA LSC 2423, 4s/5s Indiana stampers), Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Fritz Reiner, conductor.
This exceptional LP is on the TAS (The Absolute Sound) list of outstanding audiophile recordings.
The tracklist is: Colas Breugnon, OP 24, Overture (Kabalevsky)/Marche Slave (Tchaikovsky)/Prince Igor: Act II: Polovski March (Borodin)/A Night On Bare Mountain (Moussorgsky)/Marche Miniature-From Suite No 1 In D Minor (Tchaikovsky)/Russlan And Ludmilla: Overture (Glinka).
The glossy LP looks and plays great with crisp, clear playback. I was pleasantly surprised that a scratch on side 1 turned out to be superficial and played through with virtually no notice. There is some very light occasional surface noise that I really only noticed at the lead-in dead wax and hesitated to even mention. The cover is near mint with no splits, tears, writing or cutouts. The original price tag is on one back corner.
NO reserve. I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage (check out my other items!).
In the US, the winning bidder pays choice of media mail ($4.00) or priority shipping (based on ZIP code). Airmail to Canada is $8.00. All other locations outside the US are $15.00 shipping and handling. Good luck!
