This is a beautiful performance of RVW’s SYMPHONY 6, Sir Adrian Boult at baton over the New Philharmonia.  It is part of the collected Boult performances of Ralph Vaughan Williams Symphonies by EMI in their TAS celebrated box SLS-822.

Also here on this Symphony 6 edition is "Lark Ascending," Romance for violin and orchestra, with Hugh Bean on violin.

Laminated cover is without major fault, just has a scratched off space where a price sticker used to be upper right front (nothing at all serious).  Inside, is an EMI UK pressing in near-mint playing condition.

A wonderful sense of orchestral breadth here.
