Up for auction today is the 1988 highly collectible audiophile LP titled Winds of War and Peace. The sound of this LP is absolutely breathtaking, which is why it's been a longtime member of the TAS Superdisc List! This album includes pieces by John Williams/Curnow, Samuel Barber, Roger Nixon, Richard Rodgers/Bennett, Alfred Reed, Radaelli & Clifton Williams and the Winds are conducted by Lowell Graham. FROM OUR PRIVATE COLLECTION, this audiophile pressing LP is almost impossible to find, and ours shows virtually no sign of play. The album cover is also in mint condition! WE GRADE OUR VINYLS USING GOLDMINE'S VISUAL GRADING GUIDELINES AS FOLLOWS:
MINT: Absolutely perfect in every way, unplayed or still sealed.
NEAR MINT (NM): A nearly perfect record. Vinyl shows no obvious signs of wear.
LP jacket has no creases, folds, seam splits, or any other similar defects, and no cut-out holes. Basically a NM record looks and feels new.
VERY GOOD+ (VG+): A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled but previous owner(s) took good care of it. Vinyl surface may have some slight signs of wear that don't affect playback. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. The label may show some very light wear or discoloration and the center hole will not be misshapen.
VERY GOOD (VG): Many of the flaws in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing but will not overpower the music. Groove wear and light scratches will be evident. Labels may be marred by writing, tape or stickers, same is true of the sleeve and jacket cover.
GOOD and GOOD PLUS (G and G+): Good does not mean bad! A record in good or good plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping, but it will have significant surface noise and scratches. A jacket or sleeve will have seam splits or tape, writing, ring wear or other flaws.
POOR and FAIR (P and F): The record is cracked, badly warped and won't play without skipping or repeating. The LP Jacket barely keeps the LP inside it.

We accept payment through Paypal only. All payments MUST be received within 7 days of auction end date, or we reserve the right to re-list or offer the item to the next highest bidder. Unfortunately, when payment is not received within the 7 day time frame, negative feedback will be left.

Our LP mailers are purchased from "Sleeve City" and come with added padding to insure that EVERY package arrives in the same condition as shipped. I do include delivery confirmation in shipping charges; however, it is up to the winning bidder to purchase insurance in case of lost or damaged shipment, as you will not be refunded if this occurs. The insurance option we offer is recommended for orders over $100 in case your package is lost or damaged. Please purchase the insurance option or proceed at your own risk! If you want an expedited delivery service please contact us for a price. In the event a package is returned to us for any reason other than for an addressing error on our part, the buyer will be responsible to cover the original and additional shipping costs.
