Description


This is a recording of Cherry Red Blues on a one sided embossed back 78. The artist is not identified on the label but I've recorded a sample that you can hear and maybe you can identify the artist. I did have a response from an ebay who says it's T-Bone Walker an unissued Rhumboogie recording. The guitar playing does sound like T-Bone and since Rhumboogie was a small Chicago label it makes sense to since the collection was in Chicago. Being a small label they had to have their pressings done by another company and RCA did press records for other small labels This was in a large collection of blues and doowop 78's I purchased recently. I've been listing items from this collection and you'll see more in the next days.
