Description
A rare and hard to find Zimbabwean copy of TFF's The Hurting containing the smash hits Mad World and Pale Shelter.
This came from a gentleman who spent many years living in Zimbabwe and South African before returning to the UK. We have identified this using Discogs information but the key difference between this and the South African pressing is the 1A Belmont Printers text in the rear RH bottom corner - see photos.
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up glossy and spotlessly clean with a few fine scuffs and marks that do not affect playback. I have graded EX.
The sound quality is excellent. Big, bold & clean, this is great 80s pop. The record plays exactly as it should with no jumping or sticking.
The thick cardboard sleeve is typical of African pressings which used recycled cardboard. This makes for a slightly rougher feel and grainier print quality. There is some wear through to the bottom seam and age discolouration plus a couple of marks on the front. No writing, tears or tape.
The original anti static inner sleeve is present & still doing its job.
A rare copy for a collector or simply for someone who wants a more unusual version.
