Description
Columbia four-record set No. C-61 is "Teddy Wilson - Billie Holiday" by Teddy Wilson and his Orchestra, featuring Billie Holiday. Band members include Benny Goodman, Roy Eldridge, Ben Webster, Buck Clayton and Lester Young. It contains the following individually numbered 10-inch 78 RPM records.
Columbia # 36205 -- "Miss Brown to You" and "I Wished on the Moon"
Columbia # 36206 -- "What a Little Moonlight Can Do" and "If You Were Mine"
Columbia # 36207 -- "I Must Have That Man" and "Foolin' Myself"
Columbia # 36208 -- "Easy Living" and "When You're Smiling"
All the records look to be in about VG+ condition, still nice and shiny, and with very little visible surface wear of any significance. I've played them all on my Audio-Technica turntable, and there were no skips or jumps, and mostly just typical light background noise, but with some occasional clicks, pops or ticking. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering devices and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well they will play on your equipment. Please also check the pictures for any label damage, including inscriptions or stickers.
The album itself is in used and worn condition, with the pocket seams intact, but the spine splitting at the hinges at the top and bottom, as well as some surface scuffs and edge wear on the cover.
