-TITLE: "TEEN BEAT - THE BEST OF CARL PERKINS" - -ARTIST: CARL PERKINS - -LABEL: SUN - SLP-1225 -(Original "SUN" label) Brown on Yellow - 1961 - -COVER: VG+ - very light ring-wear visible toward the top center area of the front cover, one of those "invisible" seam splits about 4" long on bottom/right,upper/right corner shows a light bend mark/crease,top seam shows light wear, more so on the left,all four corners show moderate wear., Back cover looks like new, no age patina,no nothing, perfect. - -DISC: NM - perfect, not even a spindle mark is evident., the vinyl still shines like a black mirror, That original SUN label looks new,...enough to send shivers down the back of the "true believers" among you collectors out there... - -COMMENTS: Only the original 1957 cover version of this LP is worth more of all the CARL PERKINS albums,that one lists at over $750 , THIS 1961 "repackaging" is THE SAME LP , same numbers,etc., only the cover differs from the 1957 version, This, (his 2nd LP on SUN), Has a pretty damn cool cover too!,(Please see photo), "Blue Suede Shoes", "Honey Don't" "Match-box","Boppin' The Blues", "Gone,Gone,Gone","Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby", "Wrong Yo-Yo", and 5 more classic songs are included on this album, PLEASE, SEE YOUR PRICE GUIDES before you pass by this,...one of Rock&Roll's MOST sought after albums ! , You May NEVER see one available again ! , ...Let's face it, CARL PERKINS is STILL "HOT" ! , (...even though he died not too long ago,...bless his pea-pickin' soul...), This LP "sold" a few weeks ago,but the deal fell through,so I'm offering it again,If you need more specifics on this album, ask,...BEFORE you bid please., thanks..., Also, for MORE rare vinyl, PLEASE see my other auctions, you WON'T regret it ! ., Thank-You, and GOOD LUCK !
