For auction is the rare TEENAGE POPEYE 7” record Side One: “Life Is Cheap” and “Peter Principle”; Side Two: “She’s Only Sixteen” and “Expectations” – this is an original copy of this band’s 1981 release on Alien Nation Records out of El Paso, Texas.  

The vinyl plays great, no clicks or skips, however there is a mild dish warp, and some visible paper scuffing. The dish warp and scuffing did not affect play for me, but I will grade the vinyl conservatively as a VG.  Comes with the original neon-yellow picture sleeve, which has a price tag residue at the top corner, and an address written in pencil on the back.  Again, to be conservative I’ll grade the sleeve as VG. The bottom line is this record appears to have been enjoyed – but not abused! – and if you have been looking for this piece of rare Texas punk history, you will not be disappointed!

Condition: record VG / picture sleeve VG.
