Description
TELEVISION PERSONALITIES - 14TH FLOOR / OXFORD ST.,W.1 - 7" vinyl single on TEEN 78 records (SRTS/CUS 77089) Original Issue.
The record is in excellent condition. The sleeve is the 'hand written' variation. On the outside front is a hand drawn TV screen, title and 'Teen 78' (see scan). On the reverse, also hand written, are the 'names' of the band (Nicholas Parsons - guitar; Bruce Forsyth - bass; Hughie Green - drums and Russel Harty - drums) and the words NO SENSE! in large letters. It seems that the band used carbon paper with these hand written sleeves, and I think this is one of the carbon copies! This has been folded to form a wrap round cover and stapled (with small staples) four times. On the inner of the sleeve is printed some articles, titles and the gay switchboard number. This is as I bought the record nearly thirty years ago. The sleeve is intact and in pretty good condition considering it was pretty fragile to begin with. There is some browning and slight creasing. There is also a sticker in the bottom left hand corner.
