Okay, here's a relisting. Due to temporary financial crisis I'm lowering the price significantly. If you've been watching/ waiting/ wondering about this item, now is the time to buy because within 2-3 weeks my financial crisis will be OVER, one way or another. If I DO leave it on eBay the price will be going back up, but I hope to be able to remove it completely and keep it. As I've said before I really don't want to sell this. THE TEMPESTS - Lemon Lime b/w Rockin' Rochester U.S.A. Highly regarded Garage/Rockabilly, notorious for its rarity and value. Only offered a very few times on eBay, usually sells around $1500; has topped $1000 even in 'off' condition. If you don't know it, you can hear a copy on YouTube:

This one's in off condition, unfortunately. When I found it, it wasn't in a sleeve. Off-condition records are the hardest for me to grade, it seems that's where people perceptions really differ.. some people VG is other people's VG- and some people's G is better than some people's VG. This copy has some loss of gloss but it's in no way played out. There's moderate surface marks on the Lemon Lime side, and there's one scratch that's lightly feelable. There's noticeable surface marks on the Rockin' Rochester side. But other than the one scratch neither side has any other feelable marks/scratches. As a visual grade, I'm going to use VG- for this. Many liberal graders would call it VG.
That's my visual grade. The good news is, it PLAYS great. Aside from the fact that it was crudely recorded, playback here gets it a VG+ at least. In fact it's a loud and wild record and the music so overpowers the surface noise that it could be VG++. Send me a message if you want to set up an appointment to hear this over the phone
The good news is: it's fully guaranteed. If you don't agree with my grade you can return for a FULL refund (I'll even pay shipping both ways). So you can't lose.
Foreign buyers- I'm going to require Registered Mail. Sorry.... I don't mind taking chances on my cheaper stuff but this is just too much $$ to lose. The amount that you see for shipping is the expensive rate with the cost for Registered already added in.
