Description
TEMPO L.A.P.1 DON RENDELL 'Meet Don Rendell'
Recorded in February and May 1955, this was the famous UK saxophone player's first disc under his own name, as well as being the first LP put out by this iconic label. This is a fist pressing with purple/white label with black logo, housed in a flipback cover with the original flipback inner too.

Condition/Description: Disc EtoE+ (VG+toVG++) with some light to very light scuffs/marks, visible under a bright 'grading' light. These appear to have little affect on the playing. Cover E+ (VG++). Apart from very minor corner damage, this appears to be almost 'as new' - remarkable for an LP over 50 years old. However, in common with many jazz record collectors of the time, the original owner was a (heavy?) smoker and there is some minor discolouration on the back.
NOTE: This is definitely not the currently available Japanese repress! Also, the marks seen on the photo of the cover are caused by light (and my bad photography). They do not appear on the actual item.
