HERE WE HAVE A VERY NICE, UK DERAM (DML 1015) FIRST *MONO* PRESSING OF TEN YEARS AFTER'S SUPERB, 1967 SELF TITLED DEBUT LP

THE ALBUM IS PRESSED ON QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL WITH DEEP CUT GROOVES WHICH DELIVER OUTSTANDING SHARP, CRISP AND CRYSTAL CLEAR *MONO* AUDIO REPRODUCTION (which these 60s Decca pressings are so rightly famous for!!) AND HAS THE FIRST ISSUE BROWN/WHITE DERAM LABELS WITH THE FIRST PRESS MATRIX: ARL 8050 - 3A / ARL 8051 - 3A (with 'KT' tax code etched on both run-offs)

THE LP IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL, FIRST ISSUE, FRONT LAMINATED SLEEVE “Printed in England by Clout & Baker Ltd.” AND COMES COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL POLY LINED, RED MONO DECCA COMPANY INNER SLEEVE

A VERY NICE COPY OF A TREMENDOUS BRIT PSYCH/BLUES CLASSIC, FIRMLY ROOTED IN THE BLUES BUT WITH A STRONG JAZZ INFLUENCE. THIS COPY HAS BEEN WELL PLAYED AND WELL LOVED OVER THE YEARS BUT THE *MONO* REPRODUCTION STILL REMAINS INCREDIBLY IMPRESSIVE - FANTASTIC SOUND, AND THE LP PLAYS EXTREMELY WELL THROUGHOUT

LABELS: The 1st Brown/White Deram labels are CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO marks/unwanted writing but do display quite a few spindle traces
VINYL Visual: The surfaces have some superficial marks (especially on Side Two) but these have very little audio consequence (see audio). Visually VG
VINYL Audio: The *MONO* audio delivery is OUTSTANDING!!!! - CRYSTAL CLEAR, CRISP and RICH. There are NO jumps, NO sticks and NO prolonged scratches. There is the occasional minor click/pop and touch of surface noise but absolutely NOTHING major and certainly nothing which I found AT ALL intrusive on play-grading this OUTSTANDING piece of work. The album plays VERY WELL THROUGHOUT with SUPERB clarity and NO discernible groove-wear or distortion. Must be graded VERY GOOD+ for audio and NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page)
SLEEVE: The 1st issue front laminated Clout & Baker sleeve is also in VERY GOOD+ condition with a beautiful DEEP GLOSS to the front laminate and a pretty clean unlaminated back (there is some old, dry tape marking on the bottom edge of the sleeve). ALL the text on the spine is SHARP and CLEAR.
