ONE OF the best TYA albums following on from the early blues obsessed work, incorporating some more contemporary, for the time, influences from hard rock to prog. Essentially however, its still the same TYA but digging deeper into a straight ahead rock sound ala Rory Gallagher or Trapeze. The songs are really great with Alvin holding off the guitar assault in an attempt to get a bit more meaning across with his lyrics and melodies. That's not to say that its not a rocker. Indeed, you could argue that this album is his most accomplished guitar led work since the very early records, but its delivered with a more considered style whilst rellying on his band mates for stronger support. Tracks like 'One Of These Days' and 'Here They Come' showcase some great dynamics in this area whilst 'Let The Sky Fall' and 'Hard Monkeys' paint an expansive desire to reach across musical divides.
Tough to find decent copies these days.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Superb clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks and no other signs of any use. Grades as shop fresh stone MINT!
Cover: Again, absolutely no signs of use. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight, sharp and totally uncrushed. Beautiful and impossible to find like this. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
