Description

From 1969, comes the blues LP entitled Ten Years Of Black Country Religion,1926-1936 on Yazoo L1022 black label. Scarce original black label of this rare blues album which is tinged with gospel. Fourteen cut LP with tracks by Charlie Patton, Kid Prince Moore, Blind Willie Davis, Lonnie McIntorsh, Bo Weavil Jackson, Jaybird Coleman, Dennis Crumpton & Robert Summers and Blind Lemon Jefferson. The cuts were taken from rare 78s. This LP demonstrates how the blues descended from gospel music! Very rare!
