TERMITES doo wop 45 on BEE “Give Me Your Heart” NM HEAR
Artist: The TERMITES
Titles: “Give Me Your Heart” / “Carrie Lou”
Label: BEE (Reading, PA). Label is blue with silver text. Matrix number is machine-stamped in the runout area. Catalog number is B#1825 RA.
Year: 1963
Condition: Condition is beautiful NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found. Labels are clean except for a single “X” mark on the Carrie Lou side to denote the intended plug side for radio station airplay. Fidelity is superb as you can hear in the accompanying sound clip. You will not find a nicer copy anywhere.
NOTE: This scarce single came from the estate of a retired Baltimore area radio personality who worked at one of the top local soul stations during the 1960s-70s and retained boxes of unplayed demo singles when he left the station. This record – like many in his large collection – is most likely unplayed.
