Description
Brunswick BL-54041,original deep groove USA pressing of this fairly rare rockabilly LP
Cover=VG++ or EX condition.It is very clean with no writing or stickers and all the
seams are 100% intact with absolutely zero seam splitting.The only flaw is some staining along the bottom seam and in the bottom right corner.Looks like it picked up
some moisture at some point and left some evidence behind when it dried.Again ,this
is pretty minor and the rest of the cover is a solid Near Mint with former owner's
name written on the back cover at the top.The LP looks like it was played one time
and then stored for 45 years.The center hole on each side has one light spindle trail
on it and the one on side 2 you have to strain your eyes to see it.The downside is this:
this pressing is a typical Decca/Brunswick low quality vinyl and as a result this is a
"spackled" pressing with many visible micro sized spots visible inside the vinyl.None of
these are surface reaching and none of this affects the play of the record.The other
thing about this copy is that Brunswick issued it in a plastic inner sleeve and as a result
of it being stored Unplayed for over 45 years,some of the plastic has leached onto the
vinyl on Side 2 only (this is not the case with Side 1).I have cleaned the LP very
carefully and there are still visible areas of the plastic baggie still to be seen on Side 2.This also does not affect the play of the record and is a visual cosmetic flaw only.
The rest of the vinyl grades solid VG++ or EX condition.So although this is a not a
perfect Mint copy,it comes pretty close to a top condition copy and this one is certainly
one that was played only once or twice.
