Description

This is a test pressing of Classic Records' 1994 reissue of the RCA "Living Stereo" 1954 recording by Fritz Reiner and the Chicago Symphony of Richard Strauss' "Also Sprach Zarathustra", better known in pop culture as the opening to "2001: A Space Odyssey". 
This particular pressing matrix # LSC-1806A2/B2 was pressed on 180g  vinyl at RTI on April 18, 1994. Side 1 has the RTI test pressing logo, and the date and matrix #. Side two is a plain white label.
The other version of this concurrently being auctioned is of a special vinyl formulation and a different mastering matrix # LSC-1806-A1.
