Description

You are bidding on a test-pressing of Rocket 88 featuring Charlie Watts, Alexis Korner, Jack Bruce etc. It bears a matrix number that I cannot find a listing for on discogs and the track sheet has an image of The Rolling Stones lips logo. My semi-educated guess is this was maybe going to come out on Rolling Stones Records but never did. It was released on Atlantic in the US but with different catalog and matrix numbers: SD 19293

Rocket 88 is a United Kingdom-based boogie-woogie band formed in the late 1970s by Ian "Stu" Stewart, Charlie Watts, Alexis Korner and Dick Morrissey.

Vinyl Grade: VG+, still glossy but quite a bit of light scuffing

We double-box all vinyl LPs for shipment. The LPs are removed from covers, secured in an LP mailer, then that mailer is placed into a 14 x 14 corrugated cardboard box with plenty of padding. We have yet to have a record damaged in shipment.
