TESTAMENT - THE NEW ORDER 1ST Pressing US (2 bar codes) 1988 Thrash Metal VG. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
1st Pressing versions have 2 bar codes, (1 on the spine and 1 on the back cover) and have the SRC logo clearly stamped on the run-out groove. (see pictures)

The record has a moderate amount of scratches and smudges on it, but most appear to be light or very light. There are a couple long ones but those are definitely light ones. There may be one or 2 more significant scratches. I imagine there might be a few pops on the quiet passages and between songs but probably not much that would be audible over the music. I would give the record a VG grade.
The insert seems to have fared the worst out of the 3 parts of this package. There is a bit of shredding going on at the top edge of one side. It's only on the very edge though, with one minor rip which I have included a close up picture of. There is also a large (about the size of a fist) stain on the lyrics side, in the upper left corner, but it's so faint that it would not show up in the pictures that I tried to take of it. There is also a significant crease (about 3 inches long) in that same area, which I HAVE included a picture of. The bottom edge of the insert has a large slit in it where the album can poke through. (see pictures) and a much smaller rip (about 2 inches) on one other side. The side with the band photo has fared a bit better and it still looks pretty clean and free of creases.
The cover is in pretty good condition overall. There are a handful of veins on the top and left sides of the front. The longest one is about 4 inches (see close up pictures) and there is another one that is half that length. Those 2 veins are fairly light though, and are only noticed when you look at the cover from a certain angle. The rest of the veins are much smaller and mostly on the left side, but a couple of them are more pronounced. They can be seen in the main picture of this listing. There is extremely faint ring wear on the cover but it is almost unnoticeable. The worst damage to the whole cover is on the spine and it's just general wear that you see on most used records. There is one spot (right on the album title text) where the label is worn entirely though exposing the raw cardboard underneath. I have included a picture of that spot. There is some moderate wear to that edge in addition to that spot but that spot is the worst of it. Despite the wear on the spine, and the veins on the front, I would give this cover a grading of VG+ because of the overall mildness of the wear and tear.
I try to describe any damage to my records with as much detail as possible, and it may make them sound worse than they are. Overall this thing is in better than average condition for a used album from 1988 and it still looks more than decent.
