TESTAMENT - The New Order - Vinyl 12 Inch LP - *** ULTRA RARE ***

After the 1987 Megaforce release of The Legacy Testament's debut album, the band was riding high with Atlantic Records as their distributor and poised for a breakthrough album.
The New Order released in 1988 is considered that breakthrough album and is now considered a classic of thrash metal.
Atlantic printed a few copies of The New Order before the album was officially released and sent out those copies to radio stations. This is one of those copies.
The album comes in its original plain white cardboard sleeve with no artwork or identifying marks on it.
I don't think you can officially call this a test pressing because it is not stated as such.

But by looking at the grooves on the vinyl you can see all the songs for the album are there.
I have had this for nearly 30 years when I received it new and I am now willing to part with it. It has never been played because I also own the original regular album with artwork.
Asking a friend who worked at the time at Atlantic Records publicity, she thinks that there were not more than 100 of these made, as they were only sent to the few college & commercial stations that had heavy metal shows.
I have never seen another one of these records offered for sale or at auction. Here is your chance to own something almost no other Testament collector will ever possess.

Record is new and unplayed, no marks of any kind.
Album cover is very good with some light wear along spine (see one photo which shows spine wear).
