Up for auction is the limited edition set of 5 LP albums that comprise the long out-of-print “Complete Blue Note/Roulette Recordings of Thad Jones issued by MOSAIC RECORDS, INC.

The Complete Blue Note/UA/Roulette Recordings of Thad Jones is a wonderful limited-edition 5-lp set, containing everything the trumpeter recorded for the labels in the late '50s. Jones was a fantastic hard bop trumpeter, and the set captures him in all of his glory, making it of interest to serious hard bop connoisseurs.

Catalog number is MQ5-172.  The quality and care that go into these Mosaic offerings is well-known among jazz lovers and audiophiles. 

CONDITION (Discs): the LPs are in flawless near mint condition, and appear to have never been on a turntable. 

PLEASE NOTE:  Unfortunately there is no box or booklet.  The original box and booklet were damaged by exposure to moisture, and had to be discarded.  THE RECORDS WERE COMPLETELY PROTECTED INSIDE THEIR ORIGINAL RICE-PAPER SLEEVES, AND WERE NOT ADVERSELY AFFECTED IN ANY MANNER WHATSOEVER.  They are as flawless as the day they were originally pressed.   As with all my records, your satisfaction is FULLY GUARANTEED.

I am offering the set at a fraction of its customary retail price due to the absence of the original box and booklet, affording you the opportunity to acquire a truly amazing set of jazz albums at a substantial discount.  Perfect for an upgrade if you have one or more discs that are flawed, or simply desire to have them for your listening pleasure.  You will not be disappointed.
