Truly this is the best album that defines the UK 1960’s R & B Boom. Killer R & B from the Geordie band featuring Eric Burdon on vocals, Alan Price on piano and organ, Chas Chandler on bass guitar, Hilton Valentine on guitar, John Steel on drums.
In great condition, this is the original 1964 UK mono 1st pressing on the 1st press blue/black Columbia label, 1st press 1N/1N mono matrixes, 1st press Emitex inner sleeve, and 1st press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' flipback laminated 'patents pending' Mono cover. Kept in plastic sleeve which is included.
The record has light ‘paper’ marks – I have played it and it plays fine with virtually no pops or crackles. The cover is near excellent. NO rips or writing. Very clean back. With copies changing hands at over £280 here's your chance to grab a bargain!
