: A REALLY SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THIS RARE 1964 COLUMBIA RECORDS UK DEBUT ALBUM RELEASE FROM THE ANIMALS.

This is an original 1964 UK First Issue mono vinyl issue LP for The Animals Self Titled UK album release.

The LP is on the traditional Black & Blue Columbia Record Label, with ‘The Columbia Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, Sold In UK label text and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ printed on both sides.

Both record labels are in immaculate Mint Minus condition, both record labels are undamaged, all printed text is unfaded, all that is visible are a couple light signs of play to the centre of the labels.

The official machine stamped Matrices, Side 1, are XAX 2717-1N and Side 2, XAX 2718-1N.

Side 1 stampers markings: 2 GM, Side 2 stampers: 3 GH. There is an embossed *KT* tax code visible on the centre of the side 1 record label.

Both sides of the heavy quality vinyl disc are in immaculate Mint Minus condition, the heavyweight vinyl disc is beautiful and shows only a couple of insignificant hairlines.

The LP play’s through all tracks without faults. The LP comes in it’s original Made in Great Britain polythene lined inner bag, and is housed in its original first issue Garrod & Lofhouse Patents Pending, ‘mono’ front laminated sleeve with three flipbacks to the reverse.

The front of this superb original mono Picture Sleeve is in beautiful Mint Minus condition, a glossy undamaged front panel with just mild signs of LP storage.

The reverse panel of the sleeve is in very nice Excellent to Excellent Plus condition, a very clean back panel with mild handling signs to the opening edge, the spine edge and other edges are undamaged.

This is a superb example of this 1964 Original mono debut album from The Animals.
