Mint:
VINYL- New condition, no visible flaws whatsoever.
COVER- Looks like it has just been removed from shrinkwrap, or may still be in most of the shrinkwrap.
Mint- (Mint Minus):
VINYL- Hardly played with no visible flaws. May lack a slight amount of shiny luster.
COVER- Jacket will be virtually flawless, with the slightest signs of wear. May have slightly worn corner, a bit of torn shrinkwrap, and/or some price stickers on it.
VG++: (Very Good Plus Plus).
VINYL- This record may have some slight surface marks (very light scuffs or marks from needle) that may be noticed while listening.
COVER- It will show more signs of wear than a MINT- jacket: ringwear will be slightly more evident, the edge, spine and/or corner show slight wear as well.
VG+: (Very Good Plus)
VINYL- Record will have some light marks (very light scratches and/or very light scuffs), with minimal pops or crackles heard while listening. Any of these light, but visible, surface marks will be mentioned in description.
COVER- It will show more signs of wear than a VG++ jacket, the ringwear will be slightly more evident, the edge, spine and/or corner will appear more worn as well. All minor wear will be detailed in above description.
VG: (Very Good)
VINYL- Record may have several scratches and/or scuffs, with some popping and crackling heard during listening.
COVER- Jacket will have noticeable wear/damage, such as: edge/spine/corner show minor seam splits, some noticeable ringwear (not terrible, but still distracting from the image), minor writing, a few price stickers, or other similar defects. All wear/damage will be detailed in above description.
VG-: (Very Good Minus)
VINYL- Vinyl usually has a few very visible marks or scratches, might be somewhat rough in a few spots while listening.
COVER- The jacket will show wear: ring-wear, spine is taped/glued up for repair, some writing and/or stickers, edge and corner wear, or other similar defects. All major wear will be detailed in above description.
Good+ & Below:
VINYL- Vinyl will play, but with crackle or issues.
COVER- Usually in fairly poor condition.
