THE ART PEPPER QUARTET
S/T TAMPA RS1001
(ORIG. FIFTIES PRESSING, BLACK AND SILVER LABEL)

MUSICIANS:ART PEPPER(ALTO SAX), RUSS FREEMAN(PIANO), BEN TUCKER(BASS), GARY FROMMER(DRUMS)
COVER:VG++ completely split top and bottom seems but no tape and spine is good except small 1 inch crack in middle of spine but just to outside paper, not all the way through. No ring wear is noticeable (but you can catch something that might be considered ring wear in the glossy shine as you hold it at an angle). Back is clean with no writing but has age colored around the perimeter of the type - a little darker across the top than the bottom.
RECORD: VG+ Semi-Glossy with just a few light scuffs. Labels look great.
I played it all the way through and there are no skips and very little surface noise- an occasional pop or noise can be heard. This record has not been cleaned and cleaning may reduce or eliminate the small amount of noise I heard.
