Description
Artist: THE AYNSLEY DUNBAR RETALIATION
Title: THE AYNSLEY DUNBAR RETALIATION
Format: stereo LP
Label: LIBERTY, UK (LBS 83154)
Year: 1968
Style: blues
Info: Original early pressing of one of the great British 'blues' albums, and extremely hard to find. It did not sell well at the time of release making it very rare, and even rarer to see one in as good a condition as this!
Has nice thick vinyl and comes in original fully laminated sleeve, and is complete with original polythene lined die-cut inner sleeve.
Has early press A-1 *T / B-1 *T matrix stampers.
Features nine beautifully recorded tracks that were the basis of the band’s set at the time, done in a manner so as to capture as much as possible the real sound of their live performance...
-side 1:
WATCH'N CHAIN
MY WHISKY HEAD WOMAN
TROUBLE NO MORE
DOUBLE LOVIN
SEE SEE BABY
ROAMIN AN RAMBLIN
-side 2:
SAGE OF SYDNEY STREET
MEMORY PAIN
MUTINY
Vinyl in near mint condition - is immaculately clean and shiny and looks as good as new! After having examined it under a light it is 99.9% wear free, with only an extremely small amount of extremely faint sleeve wear which is mostly on the outside edge of the run-in groove anyway. It has obviously hardly been touched, although i think it may have been played once, maybe twice.
Labels are perfect and on side 1 there are no spindle marks at all. On side 2 there are two or three extremely faint small lines which may be spindle marks, so its possible that maybe only side 1 has been played.
Sleeve in excellent+ condition with just very light general wear and some very light ringwear. Looks really nice and really the only noticeable fault is a small circular area of slightly sticky residue in the top left corner of the front face, where a price sticker has been removed. Faces are smooth and shiny with just one or two small minor surface scuffs, and some very minimal shelf/rub wear on rear. Spines are perfect and still in shape. Corners look great with extremely light scuffs on the two right hand side ones. A handful of very small minor creases adjoining the spines. The laminate has lifted slightly in places right next to the main spine on both sides but this is hardly noticeable. Opening edges are sharp with just a couple of very small and light scuffs.
All in all is in absolutely super shape and the winning bidder is in for a real treat!
I grade the condition according to UK standards.
Will be posted in strong professional packaging to avoid damage in transit.
